The telework or remote work is a shape of organization or realization of the work by using information technologies within the framework of a relation of employment.
There is two typify of telework: employee and independent.
The inconveniences are:
The telework requires a big trust between the telecommuter and his employer. There is not enough borders between professional life and private life.
The telecommuter can feel alone, be to put under stress because of the workload.
According to THE INSEE, in 2006, 43 % of the telecommuters consider that they work more at home than in the premises of the company.
The telework is a major phenomenon of this beginning of century. He participates in the evolution of companies, they are more opened to the development, on the forms of work and cooperation enter individual. Companies become more dynamic.
More people refreshed of less time, need more flexibility and a big balance between their work and their family life. The telecommuting looks of the autonomy to the employee.
Call centers and bodies virtual as a consulting firm are examples of telecommuting.
Today, France is confronted with a weak development of the telework, only 7 % of the working population are telecommuters, 13 % in Europe, while in State Units this mode of organization is very widespread, 25 % of the working population.
Conclusion:
In spite of some inconveniences, these modes of organizations are in constant increase in Europe and in the countries of the world. The development of the new information technologies and the communication facilitates a strong and long sustainable development for companies. They will have to adopt these methods of work not to be exceeded by the competitors.
