Bonjour

J'aimerai savoir s'il y a des fautes dans ma lettre :

We received your letter dated of 6 september concerning your demand of piece of information about the Observatory of Paris.

As requested we are sending you the brochure of the observatory presenting all the practical modalities and the information which can be useful for you.

Moreover, we send you a form to return us to make your demand of visit.

We remain at your disposal should you require any further information.

Yours sincerely

Bonjour

Ci-dessous quelques corrections

We acknowledge receipt of your letter dated September 6 (plus "formel")..... your request for some pieces of information...

..... useful to you

.... to complete and return to us in order to apply for a visit.

Nota : le terme "demand" signifie plutôt "exigence", "revendication" (et aussi la "demande" dans "l'offre et la demande")

voila j'en ai fait une autre, un refus cette fois :

DEMAND OF VISIT

We acknowledge receipt your demand of visit at the observatory of Paris.

It is regrettably impossible to us to give a suite favourable to your demand.
Indeed, dates and wanted schedules are not available, because of a big number of school visits, in this period

However, we suggest the 9/17/2003 at 9 h 30. If this date is not appropriate to you, please return us the form attached.

We regret not having been able to give you satisfaction.

Yours sincerely
