Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas.
And wishing that the french followed the same 'bank holidays' as the english - at least for Christmas!
The 26th december (Boxing Day) is a bank holiday. A day for eating left-over turkey - mince pies - christmas cake - and a day for visiting THE PUB!!!!.
Every boxing day of my childhood was spent outside the local playing with christmas presents (bicycle - roller skates etc.) and eating the occasional pack of crisps which were passed out through the window (kids aren't allowed in pubs in the UK).
Now I'm old enough to drink in the pub. But I'm thousands of kilometers away!!.
Today is the only day of the year I miss being in the UK. Instead I'm WORKING!!!!!!!!
