No I'm in Lincoln (East Midlands) ! I'm currently at work but now I have finished my task so I spend time in CCO and other french forom.

I remember that you expect to become teacher, that's true ? Teacher of French in england or ... ?
Dunno yet. I've been in many places and I don't think I'm gonna stay in London for ages. There are many places which got more to offer than London. I ain t talking about income but living condition. London is a city for tourists. You can even not afford a flat in your own town. What's a shame.

I was in a small room (but alone) in London (zone 1) and I paid more than 90 pounds per week....I shared the toilets and the bathroom with other people....But I can't deny that I spent a good time there :wub

Which one have you bought ? I've already told about my first reading experience in english, I started with the collection "lire en anglais " (how surprising! :wink2:) which are really good ones to start with ! with authors such as truman capote, roald dahl and so on.

Now, I grew used to reading in english. At the moment I'm reading White Noise by De Lillo and As I Lay Dying by Faulkner, the first one in quite interesting but the second one much more difficult to read

Hi Marion, I'am glad to see you here.
I have bought: Cracking the Freemasons Code I love it, because it's a crossing among esoterism, history, and religion. I read lot's of books like this (Pendulum of Foucault, Da Vinci Code, Skull and Bones, Chaos Arcanes).

The second is The Shakespeare Secret: It's a best seller in England so we will see

Hey guyz, I was watching this and I thought about you.

I think that you can say you speak fluently english when you can understand tv or somebody talking for real.
So watch this

http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=yb0SAY9FQSM&feature=related

This girl is talking about an american show called A Shot At Love, u can see that on MTV. It's a kind of Bachelor new millenium version cause the girl aka Tila Tequila (a pool dancer and - i heard - a porn star) is single and BISEXUAL! So it's pretty simple, there are 16 lesbian  and 16 straight guyz competiting for Tila who has to find her soul mate between them. Sooo American, isn't it???
At the end of each episode, Tila has to eliminate one girl and one guy.

Anyway this girl is talking about the ninth episode, there are only 2 girls (amanda and dany) and a guy (bobby) left and they are in Cancun, Mexico.
She speaks fast, uses american typical expression and she's seriously funny!

So, do you understand what she says?

edit: I'll just give you a little tip, because it can be confusing if you don't know this show. At a moment, she's like "she... he... she... he...", she's talking about Dany, Dany is a lesbian girl a bit... er... very male, in fact. So that's funny.

Now, this is a little extract of A shot at Love, with a very good fight at the end... Hilarious !

I watched this american show one time (just a few minutes in fact).
It seems to be really crazy...

I hope that the reality show in France and even in Europe won't become this kind of things... there is no interest to watch it, for me of course.
