Ah ! Yes...., but if you only say "up", that's not going to wake the topic up.

So, what would you like to talkk about ?

I can talk about work if you like (because I am supposed to be working right now . or I can talk about lazying around, because that's what I am doing in fact . It may be because of the weather : I feel sleepy..... zzzz.....

where do you live ?

here, at Paris, the sky is grey, streets are grey, buildings are grey, people are grey... so, yes, your sleepy feeling is because of the weather...

Actually, i'm working, if i could tell it like that. I'm supposed to tape a boring report but i'm sticked at my desk, trying to keep my eyes opened...

I live in Burgundy.

By the way : in Paris.

We are feeling exactly the same  isn't it funny ? Except that here, there's some noise in the yard (I live in a house) because they are cutting up wood. It makes me feel downhearted, because It makes me think that I should be more outside and move a bit, even if tha weather is not good.

What's your report about ?

As for me, I have just marked a paper : 05. it's depressing. But the mistakes in the translation are a surrealistic (I think the student used an automatic translator.... my God !!!! :arrow2: )

Burgundy ??? where is it ?

I've got noise too, but it's not as fairy : they are building an other building, making holes in the ground... making this city a little bit darker...

My 47-pages-report is about medical centers in Algeria... fascinating...

Do you mean that you don't know where Burgundy is or that you don't know where I live in Burgundy ? (You people from Paris don't know your geography, that's what other people say )

Burgundy covers several départements : Yonne, Nièvre, Côte d'Or, Saône et Loire.

I know Paris, I used to live there. It is becoming, as you say, uglier and uglier. And personally, I think the smell isn't pleasant either. It is very depressing in damp weather. I prefer it here, even though it is a bit boring. At least I can say to myself that i could go out and have a walk, if only I wanted to .

I see... your report is quite exciting....zzzzzzzz....

By the way : a 47-page report (nom composé)

huh-uh... But i can't understand what Burgundy means if you don't tell me the French translation!!!! :chessy: I didn't ask you what Burgundy covers...
it seems evident to you, it's not for me.
:chessy:

Sorry, it's true that I didn't thought of translating Burgundy, but that's because I didn't want to use French except for the "départements".

Now I'm sure that you know where Burgundy is... it's a region which is famous for its mustard, its wine, its food (especially the snails and the boeuf bourguignon and also the fondue bourguignonne)... and also for having taken sides with the English during the 100-year war. It covers a large part of France and it is considered as very French by foreign tourists... but... is it ? :chessy:

Have a nice day !

why? Mountains can be eaten????
i might miss something between the cheese and the mountains...

 :wink2:

Obviously no, I wouldn't eat mountains. I meant I like hiking

I see this thread is not going on. Could anyone find a topic to feed it by any chance ?

I don't know... how about talking about sports ? Ice skating for instance (I watched the Olympic competition on TV)

See you...

RE

Hello,

i don't like Olympic competition, only ice skating (but lesser and lesser the last times).

i need my vacation, but - gasp - we're only the First of the month. I'm counting the days until the 25th...

:wub

Well. it's snowing on Paris, and Paris under the Snow that's quite ugly...

i live in the surburbs of Paris, in the 95, a very little town. When it's snowing there, it's so nice. Okay, not nicer than in Les Alples - for example, but nicer than in Paris, isn't it ????

I'm fed up of my studies, i'm only thinking about one thing : how will i stand during June and July, because, after the exams, i won't go to school, so i'll stay in my firm while two months !!!! I hope i could put 2 weeks off just before the end of my contract, lol!!!!!

well, i have to continue to fake, acting like i was really working on something.

see ya.

I understant you... I live the same !! I have nothing to do here just get bored !!

Hi !

So I see the thread is going on. It's a pity that you are fed up with your studies, and with your job ont top of that. It makes me think that too often people have to do jobs that hey don't like or that are boring. But stay hopeful : you are young, perhaps you will have opportunities to do more exciting things. With your PA diploma, you can work in any field (you could choose temp jobs while browsing the ads).

See you

See you

time is running so fast, and we're running for what ????

does my diploma really worth it if i don't like at all the job i'm preparing for ????

actually, i can't see myself in a office, get bored all my life, in front of a :spam1: computer...
well, i rather stop talking about that, it's gonna make me sick (again).

:notstupide:

i think it's insane to keep doing a job we don't like. unfortunately, that's the point for most of people in the world. life is not disney. life is a wh.re and i'm really fed up with this.

well... time off... i can leave.

see you. :wink2:
