what marion said was alright for me !!! she already has the aussie spoken, yeah ? lollll

you can say : it's hot, when you talk about the weather. hot is not only for the sexual stuff you know ! so many times i heard : ohmygod it's so fucking hot ! lol
i'm a bit confused with the use of the past and the present perfect here (i never got that rules :notstupide: we need an english teacher by there).
you can also say : it was just scary if you wanna be kind of ironic, that's correct too.

she might wanted to say "rainy", so you both wrong in that little part.

anyway, what marion said was ok, and australian guy would perfectly understand her.
actually, when you're speaking english all the time, yeah you do some mistakes but people still understand you. i think what we really need is to write in english all the time.
i don't know about you marion, but my english written is becoming really shitty

Ô dude ! Don't mess with sarah now. She's crocodile dundee

Justement, là tu vois Tatal, tu pourrais dire "I wish I could improve ..." au lieu de "I hope I can..."

Just in the same section more or less that in the former forum.

So, you too, you can say ... "You know, here, you could say ""I wish I could improve ..." in place of "I hope I can...""

It's an english chat, so why speak french??

I think it's a good idea, I've a goog level in english but my exams are in 2months and I think that if I speak English 1 or 2 time during the day, it would be a good thing for me! Because I can't speak English with another person, my mother only speak french and spanish and my boyfriend speak Marseillais ! lol (lought of laughing, isn't it? or "loud..."?)
So, good idea "Sarah", and thank you...

Hi everybody!!!

It's a good idea to speak especially in english. But it's difficult for me because I don't speak very well but I try... Actually I leave in South of Korea but korean people don't like to speak english. They say only: hello, good bye, how are you!!!! that's all. When you want to progress in this language, it's very difficult. So I decided to go to the university to learn english. I will have lessons in september at the evening. I'm 27 and I'm happy to speak with you. I must work very hard........

See you Bye

Actually : faux ami!! It means "en fait"... And I can't remember what's the English for "Actuellement".. Sorry...

Me I'm Julie, I'm 20 years old and I live in a city next to Aix en Provence, in South of France... I LOVE SOUTH
I'm living with my boyfriend (and fiancé) since February 1st, and it's so better than living 1week in my house with mother, stepfather, sister 5years old and brother 7years old (always screaming my god!!), and 1week in his house with mother, father, sister 21years old and brother 16 years old (teen crisis... horrible, I want to hit him lol!)
So I'm enjoying my entire life, but my work! It's so ... BORING... From 8:00a.m to 5:00 p.m I'm here on the Internet, not doing anything...

Hey what an interesting topic! It permit to learn more about the personnality of cultureco folks! :aplause:

Well, what about me? My name is Ludovic but I allow you to call me Ludo... :chessy: I'm 22 years old and live in the city of Cork - Ireland since October 2006. I came here with a friend who studied with me at the University of Bordeaux 4. Each of us have taken his own car and drove to Cork (but to cross the Ocean Atlantic we've taken the Ferry lol) and now we are living in the city center of Cork (south of ireland). We rent a beautifull flat front of the river Lee and one of the most important street in Cork, North Main Street.

I found a work at Amazon at the customer service just after my moving in but my contract is now finished since 6 days...I would like to find an other job but I need to improve my english before I think...so why not subscribe for english lesson at the English College or the University of Cork ? I'll see this week...juste take some holiday for the moment lol.

What else...hum...yes ! I've an Irish girl friend since 2 weeks :dacc: The thing is that it's very funny to have sex in english...if you see what I means

I have a blog if you want to see some picture of my life in Ireland...just click on http://lollu.free.fr/zenphoto

C.U and take care.
