Je fais appel à vous car je bloque sur un petit d'exercice en Anglais, le voici :

John Philips is telling his secretary what to write when she types out the day's letters. Change his instructions into an acceptable form for business correspondence :
Example :
J.P : Ask them for a cash discount.
Sec : Could you offer us a cash discount?

Jusqu'à là, tout va bien mais je bute sur 2 phrases :

5) Find out what their terms of trade are
:fleche:  J'ai proposé : Could you tell us what are your terms of trade? Mais je ne sais pas si c'est bon en anglaiscommercial

7) Say that we’d like them to send someone here to give an estimate.
:fleche: J'ai proposé :We would like you to send one of your employee to our company who can give us an estimate.


8) Find out if we can get twenty unit on approval
:fleche: J'ai proposé : Could we get twenty unit on approval? Mais je ne sais pas si c'est bon aussi

Et j'aurais aimer savoir comment dit-on :nous avons bien reçu votre lettre du...  prendre date pour un rendez-vous et stocks importants

Je dois rendre ça pour vendredi, si vous auriez des propositions de correction n'hésitez pas!

Voilà mes propositions, certainement perfectibles, mais pour lesquelles j'ai essayé de varier les formules, plutôt que de répéter "could you ... ?" ou "we'd like ..."

5) Find out what their terms of trade are
:fleche: J'ai proposé : Could you tell us what are your terms of trade?

Would you be so kind as to let us know your terms of trade

7) Say that we’d like them to send someone here to give an estimate.
:fleche: J'ai proposé :We would like you to send one of your employee to our company who can give us an estimate.

We would be grateful if you could send us a representative in order to give us an estimate.

8) Find out if we can get twenty unit on approval
Could we get twenty unit on approval?

We should appreciate to get twenty units on approval

nous avons bien reçu votre lettre du...

We acknowledge receipt of your letter dated ...

prendre date pour un rendez-vous

to fix a date for an appointment

stocks importants

a large quantity of ... (?) / substantial stocks
