lol

not shy, but unconfident. not at ease, in fact.

yes, but it doesn't matter. English people often find it very cute, so...
they want to know how is France, how is Paris. At the start, i told the truth (paris is grey, people are stressed and stressing... Southern France is better), but there are always deceived. So, now i say that Paris is wonderful, the Eiffel tower is amazing... i loooooove Paris !

yes, maybe because they see when we love their place.

London is absolutely magic, even if it's rainy.

I saw in your sign that you love London too. What's your favorite place ?

For my own, it's Piccadilly Circus :wub :wub :wub

It is very difficult to talk with other persons!!
I am shy behind them. At the beginning , I hesitate but I am not afraid!!

In tourism , the english language is important so I must be care of my accent!!

If you go on speaking english all time with the others ( or even alone lol), you will succeed in losing your french accent. :wink2:
From my part, I 've lost my french accent !! lol

well, I don't think that I have the french accent (according to my English teacher)

hey i don't know Edgware Road !!!!!!! it's in London ? Where exactly ? I didn't visit the East of London, yet....

oh no it's not in East London, it's in the North-West (there is a tube station called Edgware Road, look at a tube map you will find it on the Bakerloo line )
I went to East London, like Bethnal Green which is also called little India or Bangladesh and there is a well-known market in which you can buy fakes...but actually it's not my favourite part of London

What do you think about Tower Bridge, The house of Parliament, Cambden Town, Coven Garden?
For my part, I was a bit disappointed by Piccadilly circus...
But I was nearly crying when I saw Big Ben and the House of Parliament (this is an amazing building).
Tower bridge......dissapointed as well.
I enjoyed a lot visiting the markets of Cambden town and Nothing Hill (Portobello). I went there like 5 or 6 time, and everytime I discovered something different... :dacc:
Other good thing of London : free passes for museums
This is good for me as I quickly get bored. For exemple the British museum is huge, so if you really want to enjoy, it's better so see one or two part of it, each time...
I saw as well The Tower of London (very expensive to go in), I really liked it and didn't regret to have paid this amount of money.
And of course Oxford Street for shopping!!!

I miss this place so much!
But I'm currently in Barcelona...and it's nice as well :wink2: (but very different from London).

yes...
I'm in love with this city, this country!
This market is so...different, magic (yes magic mushroom :wink2: ),
But don't be impatient London, I will come back to see you.
I would love to go to the US as well, to know a different culture...

Well, I think that US and UK are very different....we can say that the lifestyle is not the same and US is so big  As far as I am concerned, I don't really want to go to US but I don't know why....

Sarah75, ok, next time i go to London, i'll see Edgward Road.

Mar75, i loooooooove Camden Town (goddamnit, i forgot this block). Yes, i love it, Camden is THE place for punks and gothics people, the shops and especially the market are very incredible ! I saw shoes, there, so high, about 20 centimeters, at least !!!!

I like Covent garden too, if you like it, i recommend you a very great and original restaurant nammed Papageno. It's very expensive, but, please, just go there, have a drink and look at the amazing decoration, which seems to be influenced by the Eastern and the barroque movement. Plus, it is a very cool place. Moreover its very kitch decoration, add to it the music : opera all night long.... :wub :wub
it's a magic place.

Towards Tower Bridge, i think there isn't a lot of things to see, but the bridge (and its shops) . Concerning the houses of the parliament, yes i like this place too. As you know, this block is in the neighbourhood of Trafalgar Square, then Piccadilly Circus, then Leicester Square (if i well remember  ).

The last time i went there, there was a manifestation against the war in Iraq, just in front of the Houses of the Parliament. Some people were staying there night and day, they were sleeping, eating, living there. Apparently, they decided to do this until english army leaves Iraq. I think it is (was ?) a good way, better than the strike (as we love to do in france, loooool).

What else... i don't remember very well Oxford St but i am sure : i went there....

my hotel was beside King's Cross - St Pancrass. I love this district too. In the same road, you can visit (or, at least, have an idea) a lot of countries lol ! India, China...

well well i still have a lot of places to visit, to see... London is so wonderful. But i want to see Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester too, just for the fun. And maybe go back to Southampton...

Concerning the US, a day i will go to New York and San Francisco. My two favourite places.

i hope i didn't make a lot of mistakes

I stayed for 2 days in a hotel in King's Cross St Pancras.....it's very expansive !!!!! But I ate some Indian food which was so delicious
Nesscafe for Edgware road, I hope you will love it and for Camden Town I can say it's a unique place and you can find some cheap stuff
